Thentia Cloud, a category-leading government technology platform for regulators and state governments alike, announced today the appointment of Alex Armanious as Chief Operating Officer (COO). With more than 20 years of experience in scaling operations and driving global growth, Armanious is poised to bring his unparalleled expertise to Thentia’s growing leadership team.
In his new role, Armanious will lead the company’s efforts to expand its customer delivery commitments, drive execution excellence, optimize business processes, and spearhead strategic initiatives that position Thentia for continued success.
Prior to joining Thentia, Armanious was the Country Leader for Business Innovation at AWS in Canada, where he helped the company scale its operations. Previous to this, he was the COO at Fleet Complete, a leading global provider of connected technologies for fleet, asset, and mobile workforce-based companies. While there, he helped scale operations globally to meet the hypergrowth the business experienced while expanding globally.
“I’m excited to be joining Thentia and to help grow the company into the world’s de facto government and regulatory service provider,” says Armanious. “To me, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help drive digital transformation across governments and regulators worldwide so that they can better service their customers, constituents, and citizens.”
Throughout his more than 20-year career, Armanious has led some of the world’s largest digital transformation projects in industries like pharma, retail, and industrial manufacturing. He has also completed two successful exits, both as a founder and as a COO, and set up and scaled operations in five continents.
“Alex is a true powerhouse when it comes to driving company growth and revolutionizing customer experiences,” says Julian Cardarelli, CEO, Thentia. “His exceptional track record speaks for itself: time and time again, he’s demonstrated a rare ability to scale operations to meet even the most demanding customer delivery commitments, while simultaneously developing innovative business processes and anticipating market trends before they even materialize.
Cardarelli adds, “With his visionary leadership, Thentia is poised for explosive growth in new markets and beyond. We’re thrilled to have him onboard as an invaluable asset to our team.”
